Practical Scrappers Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop

Welcome to the Practical Scrappers Blog Hop
where we are Scrapping our Stash.

We have a smaller list this month so it shouldn't be hard to check out all the fun!  In case you get lost along the way - here is the list!

Practical Scrappers Blog Hop List
Nicole Laha

For my project this month I knew I wanted to make use of some old GCD Studio papers that I had, but they were in a 6 X 6 inch pad.  So I needed to get creative.  I love to do grids and they seem to be really trending right now - so I went that route!  Here's the sketch I created to go with the layout:

And here's the actual layout!
Once I had created my grid I just pulled out my stash of die cuts and started pulling out ones that matched.  Somehow, miraculously, they came together to make this.  I was so excited watching as it all sort of just fell together! My final touch to help some elements pop a little more was to do some simple outlining.  I have been doing a lot of that lately, a lot!  I love the punch it gives to elements and since this fabulous hobby is all about doing what you love, why not?

Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper: GCD Studios, American Crafts
Die Cuts: Pink Paislee, Elle's Studio, Jillibean Soup
Stickers: Pebbles Inc, Carta Bella, Bella Blvd
Wood: Studio Calico

As a Thank You for stopping by I am doing a giveaway!
Here's what I am going to be giving away:
One sheet from each pattern in this line and a pack of coordinating bakers twine from The Twinery.

funny, I was just outlining on a page today, haven't done it in a long time! I love how this page has a softness, but it still kind of pops in a way.
