Christmas Traveler's Notebook Spread for Photo Play Paper & GIVEAWAY

How do you capture your Christmas memories? Do you do a December Documented, traditional layouts, pocket pages??? A little of everything?!?  This year I want to do some special spreads in my Traveler's Notebook and take on a little more of the December Documented idea but not necessarily do it daily. So I have decided to start creating a Christmas Traveler's Notebook. I think this approach will allow me to capture some everyday memories before they get lost.

One key I believe is going to be having spreads prepped ahead of time.  Thanks to the beautiful Winter Meadow collection from Photo Play Paper, I have my first one ready!  Here's what I created:

I also have a quick video walk thru of how I put this spread together!

Now if you are wondering about getting your hands on some of the supplies from this video...it's easy just click on any of the affiliate thumbnails below to check them out at Scrapbook.com!

Now let's talk GIVEAWAY!  Photo Play Paper is going to give one of you this collection!  All you have to do is follow me on my facebook page which you can find here.
And then just let me know you did so I can give you an entry for today!  Thanks so much for stopping by today...be sure to keep checking back all week for more entries!

Christmas Wall Hanging and Process Video

I have been itching to play with this Acetate Snowflake paper from Paper House Productions and I finally made time for it!  Today I have a Christmas Wall Hanging to share featuring it and a couple other products from Paper House!

Rather than do a big long write-up I have a quick video to walk you thru how I made this!

Here's close-ups that show off some of the pretty products I used!
I love that gorgeous 3D Sticker Tree! Perfect for the classy look I was going for!

And have a look at those cute little pinecones! They are great aren't they!?!

Creative Kit layouts for My Creative Scrapbook

The Creative Kit is so stinking pretty this month - you won't even believe how stunning it is!  Glitter, soft colors, but still has a beautiful Christmas feel to it!  I shared one layout from it yesterday but here's a couple more of the layouts I created using it!

I love the background paper on this one - it has beautiful gold glitter dots on each flower (snowflake?) and it just combined beautifully with the picture I had in mind to use!  I love all the soft colors together to highlight the soft photograph of my daughter.

This one brings out some of the bolder colors - the green and corals!  I knew it needed to pack a punch with all the dark colors in my photo.  This one also includes one of the exclusive cut files in this month's kits!  I sized the "merry & bright" up big to really make a statement on my page!  See that gorgeous big ornament tucked into my layers?  That's a chipboard piece that comes in the kit along with several others! It's perfect for frames or layers!

Head on over to My Creative Scrapbook to get your hands on this beautiful kit before it sells out!

Quick Tip Tuesday: Adding Sparkle to your Projects

Welcome back for another round of Quick Tip Tuesday! This week I am highlighting three ways to add sparkle to your projects and I am sharing examples of the ideas with layouts from my My Creative Scrapbook Kits this month!

Here's this week's video:

And here's a close-up look at the layouts!
This one comes from the Creative Kit and I used gold stickles to create a border around my picture - stickles are something I have been using for years and love to use to bling up my layouts and cards without having to use an entire set of rhinestones!

This layout was made with the Main Kit and features strips of rhinestones that actually came in the kit.

This layout also comes from the Main Kit and in this one I used Heidi Swapp Mist to create splatters on my background.

Check out the video to see how I did each technique!  Below is a list of Affiliate Thumbnails for some of the products I used as well as the same products in different colors.  Just click on any of them to check them out in the Scrapbook.com Store - As Always Thanks for Your Support!
