Wild Child Boy Layout

I love a good boy collection!  So when my kit for The ScrapRoom arrived and had Wild Child from Pink Paislee it, I got it out and played ASAP!  Here's what I created with it!
This was my first project for them as a design team member and I love that I was able to focus it on a boy project.  That's kind of a niche that I thrive in and I'm okay with that!  Of course it has a video to go along with it and here that is:

Wanna check out these fabulous kits? Head to the ScrapRoom for more details.  If you want to see more of the Wild Child collection you can check that out right here.

2 Halloween Scrapbook Layouts - 2 Totally Different Looks.

How do you capture your Halloween Memories?  I like to take several approaches and today I am going to share a couple of them!  One with a traditional Halloween feel to it using Halloween products and one capturing Halloween without Halloween products!  Join me as I share 2 Halloween Scrapbook Layouts with 2 Totally Different Looks!  Both pages comes from products that came in The ScrapRoom kit this month!

Traditional Approach

Although I kept this clean and simple, I was still able to add some technique into it!  I used a white pen to really bring out the background and up the eeery look.  My process video for this one walks you thru the creation of it and shows the details I added:

Here's my supply list for this one including Affiliate Thumbnails:

Non-Traditional Halloween Layout
This one looks totally different from the above doesn't it!?!  I used the "Boys Fort" collection from PinkFresh Studios to make this one.  In fact as soon as I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for a Superman layout!  Here's the process video to walk you thru this one:

This one is again, fairly simple, but still packed with detail and techniques!  Here's the supply list with affiliate thumbnails for this one:

Hope you are having as much fun Halloween Scrapping as I am!

Cousins Scrapbook Layout - Stuck?! Sketches July 1

Hi there!  Today I have a bright and cheery cousins layout using some old kit supplies!  It's based on the newest sketch from Stuck?! Sketches!

And here's what I did with the sketch!  No process video for this one, I was in a time crunch and needed to get it done so I could sneak away on an Anniversary Trip with my hubby!
I love how well the colors came together to coordinate on this one, despite being from several different companies!  I think I've got Pink Paislee, Fancy Pants, and Doodlebug all in there!  Be sure to swing by Stuck?! Sketches and play along!

Emoji Scrapbook Layout

Greetings on this beautiful spring day!  Today I am joining you with a layout that is sure to make you smile!  Anybody else out there get frustrated with trying to attach small words and cut file pieces to projects?  Today I am going to highlight how you can make this job easier with the E-Z Runner® Micro Refillable Dispenser from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
Emoji Scrapbook Layout using E-Z Runner Micro Refillable Dispenser from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

I didn’t add a lot of dimension to this layout but stuck with a lot of flat elements.

I’m a busy mom so when I have time to scrap I want my adhesive to make the job quick and easy. The E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser helped get the job done efficiently.  It was the perfect width for my emoji borders and of course worked just great on the other bigger pieces.

In addition to using cut files, I also LOVE to fussy cut.  But as I mentioned earlier that can be a total pain to add to a layout!  This is where the E-Z Runner® Micro Refillable Dispenser comes into play.

I used this runner to add the tiniest of strips (just 1/8 of an inch) to the back of all my letters.  It was even easy to use on the curvy S!  I’m not gonna lie, I may have squealed when I saw how great this worked.  Such a time saver!

If you don’t already own it, you definitely want to grab one of these handy refills for your E-Z Runner before you dive into your next project with tiny pieces!

Stuck?! Sketches Design Team Member!

Hi there crafty friends!  I am excited to share that I have joined the team at Stuck?! Sketches and will be playing with Laura's fabulous sketches twice a month!  This is actually my first time on a sketch team and I am excited for the new challenge! Here's the first sketch I played with:
Isn't it a fun one!?!  You can play along too on their site and get in on a prize!

I decided to dig into my Jillibean Soup for this creation.  I recently got to visit their warehouse sale and was all kinds of inspired and excited afterwards!  Plus they always have great boy options!  This one is mostly from Mushroom Medley!  The layout is the first one with a picture of my son with his brand new glasses!  Obviously and important moment to document and one he will remember forever!

I had made a process video but unintentionally deleted it, so for the first time in awhile I do not have a process video to go along with a layout!  That said, I've got lots of new ones in the works so don't wander too far from this blog ;)

Below is a list to all the supplies from this layout - just click on the Affiliate Thumbnails to check them out!

Quick Tip Tuesday #8: Scrapping Boys #3 - Capture those activities

This week's quick tip video focuses on scrapping those boys activities and using themed products to make that happen!  I focused my attention on creating a baseball layout this week. Here's the video!

And here's the layout  featured:
I made use of various baseball themed products from Paper House Productions to pull this layout together.  To up the trendiness of the layout I used a sketch from StuckSketches - Laura did an awesome job with the sketch.

Using themed stickers, the All Star Collection, and a sketch made this layout come together in record time!  Not to mention how pleased I am with how it turned out!
