Using Planner Products on a Scrapbook Layout

It can be easy to see how Scrapbook Products can be used in our planner but maybe a little less obvious how to make it work the other way around.  Today I challenged myself to use primarily planner products on this layout for Paper House Productions.

In the video below I walk you thru my whole process in creating this outdoors layout:

There certainly is lots of fun to be had with this huge variety of planner products!  Here's some close-ups of my clusters of products.
To create my title I combined a cardstock sticker and puffy sticker.  Then I created clusters around it featuring sticker flakes and a puffy clip.

This area combines puffy stickers, epoxy stickers, sticker flakes, and rice paper borders - whew!

Here's affiliate thumbnails to most of the products I used - thanks for your support!

August Planner Spread in Kawaii Planner - Paper House Productions

I just got my new Kawaii planner from Paper House Productions and it is so much fun!  I could tell you all about it, but why not jump into the process video for this week's planner spread instead?

Isn't the concept of a Kawaii style absolutely fun?  Here's some close-ups of my creation:
Here's the full spread, so much sparkle and whimsy going on!

I'm smitten with these puffy clips.  They are seriously unbelievably fun! So much fun that I had to include two of them!  The one above I added onto a slip on pocket.

I used this puffy clip to hold my place in the planner.

Here you can see several blocks of my planner filled with the coordinating planner stickers as well as part of the rice borders and puffy stickers.

Adding Watercolor to Your Planner Pages

Sometimes messing around with a technique is so much fun....but where do you do that at?  I like to do that in my planner rather than on a scrapbook layout.  Feels a little less permanent in case I'm unhappy with the results!  Today I have a planner page up at SRM Stickers where I experimented with adding watercolor to my page.

Not only did I have fun playing on this one -but I was really happy with the end result!
Here's some close-ups!
Love the combination of stickers, stamping, and watercolor!

That is a clear sticker over the watercoloring - isn't that amazing!?! You can't even tell it's a sticker!!!

Here's my Process Video for this Page:

April Planner Spread using SRM Stickers & Paper House Productions

April is in full swing at our house and it has required lots and lots of organization!  We've got birthdays, holidays, and tons of school commitments!  I'm joining you today with a look at my spread where I used a bunch of SRM Stickers to decorate!

I'm working with a horizontal planner these days (from Paper House Productions) and I like the feel of it.  It's different to get used to decorating but I also like the big horizontal spaces!  My Black Le Pen got a workout for this spread!

I primarily used the Free Style/Spring set of stickers for the spread.  I didn't want to add to much but I definitely wanted color.  This sticker set has yellows, greens, and blues providing lots of the desired color for the season!  I also pulled out the Stickers by the Dozen/Thank You set to bring in some more daisy stickers!

I'm totally struggling to keep track of dates this month so I decided to add a Standard Mini Calendar sticker to the bottom of the spread so I could keep my eye on the whole month!

How's your planner coming together for April? We'd love to see what you are doing in it!

December Planner Spread

It has been awhile since I have used my planner - ever since our move it hasn't been a priority.  But if there was ever a time of year that my planner is absolutely needed it is December!  Here's my first full week of December.

I used a combination of stickers and stamps from SRM to make this week's spread. I filled it up with lots of color and fun stickers but also left a little room in each day to add more to them! My Black Le Pen was perfect for writing in my own info as it doesn't bleed thru to the back sides!

I used the School Planner Stamp as well as the Birthday Planner Stamp.  To separate activities I stamped a part of the stitch border from the Birthday set and stamped that into the time.

I still kind of prefer stickers to stamps in my planner so I went ahead and did a whole bunch of those!  I pulled out all my Christmas stickers and used a wide variety from the following list:
Live Life/Christmas - Big Red Merry Christmas
Sticker Stitches/Christmas - Stitching strips
We've Got Your Sticker/Merry - Santa/Stocking/Tree space fillers and big "Merry"

I love how stickers add color and can fill up a space that is otherwise kind of blah.  How cute are those candy borders too!?!

April Planner Spread

If there was ever a time of year to need a planner, it's right now.  My goodness the schedule is busy! Today I'm sharing just one week of my April planner where I incorporated all kinds of fun SRM supplies!
For this week I decided to really play with my SRM Planner Stamps and my Black Le Pen!

I used both the Clear Stamp Planner/Banner and Clear Stamp Planner/Notes to Self to highlight things I needed to do and then added my handwriting around them!  I also added in the fun April from the Months Large/Snappy Sticker Set!

I haven't incorporated very many of my Sticker Stitches in the past so this time I got out my Halloween ones so that I could use some orange and used them as a border.  Love the extra fun that they add!
How's your April Planner coming along?  We'd love to see them over in our Facebook Group!

March Planner Pages

March is an awesome month for planner addicts this year because you get to cover both St. Patrick's Day, Spring,  and Easter.  Makes it super fun to customize the planner that way!  Today I am joining you  to share a St. Patrick's themed spread and a Spring themed spread both incorporating a whole bunch of SRM Stickers supplies.

I'm not Irish at all, but I sure do love all the cute St. Patrick's Day supplies out there! I incorporated a sticker from the Express Yourself/St. Patrick's Day set.

I also used lots of planner stamps on here!  I loved using the Clear Stamp/Planner Banner set for creating my lines on the individual spaces.  Super handy!

The Clear Stamp/Planner Notes to Self were perfect headliners for my grid spaces.

Don't those colors just make you feel warm!?! I've only done fall and winter spreads in my planner so this was a breath of fresh air!

I used  Calendar Months/Large Snappy to add my "March" in the column.  I also again used the stamp set to make my lines - but this time I used the one with the flowers instead of the hearts.

I used the Little Borders/Summer to separate the rows of my planner - the yellow ones screamed sunshine!  And of course the perfect final touch was Black Sticker Stitches.

The other main product that I used was patterned papers and some icon stickers from Doodlebug Design. They worked just beautifully in combination with the SRM Stickers supplies!

Scrapping our Stash Blog Hop - Giveaway Alert!!!

It's time for another Stash Busting Blog Hop with some of my talented friends!  We haven't done one in awhile and it was time to get back into the swing of things!  There are some awesome projects to check out and some fun giveaways too - so make sure to check in with the different blogs!  I have a giveaway to share at the end of the post!

Here's the lineup for this month!
Today I am going to show you one of my favorite ways to use stash and that is in my planner.  If I don't have a specific design team assignment involving it, I will get out my stash and pick a color scheme and run with it.  I knew for the next two weeks I had a lot of Doodlebug stash from past Winter and Valentine collections so I decided to pull out that drawer and work with it!

I had so much stash from this winter collection that came out last year.  I absolutely had to dig into it and get to use some of those cute stickers!

'
Anytime I have a morning/afternoon/evening that is open I fill that in with patterned paper.  I love the visual break that gives from all the white blocks!

Doodlebug makes rainbow washi tape that is just perfect for using in your planner - I used that to break up my rows.

My next week I went with a Valentine theme because, well, Valentine's Day :)

This one I did not have as good of stash on - I had lots of paper from a collection that came out a couple years ago but not stickers.  So I used some new stickers that came out this year.  I already used them for 6 projects so I figure they are technically stash now right? Just not old stash ;)

I again used some of their rainbow washi tape rolls to break up my rows.  I have a feeling those packages are going to be getting a workout!
