Doughnut Pocket Page

I have a little boy who loves donuts (why does there have to be two different spellings for this word?!?) and I have so many fun pictures of him over the last year with donuts.  I could do a dozen layouts on donuts.  Or I could combine some of my favorites into one.  As I looked through the supplies in the Creative Kit from My Creative Scrapbook this month I found there were several donut themed pieces.  Perfect!  Time to do a fun pocket page!

I don't do a ton of pocket pages but I always enjoy the step away from the regular 12 X 12 medium when I do!  I love being able to get a lot of pictures onto a layout without having to figure out how to work that many into a traditional design and keep it eye pleasing!

Aside from the title pocket, I added little embellishements, stickers, and patterned papers to jazz up each pocket.  I added a strip of kraft cardstock to the "selfie" pocket so I could turn it from just "selfie" to "donut selfie." I also did the same with the "Chocolate with Sprinkles" pocket.  That's his favorite kind so we couldn't miss out on adding that detail :).

If you haven't had a chance to check out the new kits this month from My Creative Scrapbook, head over and check them out!  They are packed with fall and family fun!
