Using Adhesives to Add Accents

Sometimes you have a simple layout that you just need to up add more to!  In today's layout that I created for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L that was the case.  It was fine, but it just needed something extra.  Let's take a look at how I used adhesive to make that happen!

Using Mists for Stamping & Giveaway

It's time for another monthly Stash Bash and this month we are focusing in on using mists on a project. I decided to try my hand at using mists for stamping.  And not just any stamping, but stamping using real live leaves!  I used my The ScrapRoom kit from this month - one of the page kits was a beautiful fall collection from Echo Park Paper.  I definitely wanted to use it before Thanksgiving, so the timing was perfect!  Here's the layout I created!

Merry & Bright Christmas Scrapbook Layout for Photo Play Paper - GIVEAWAY

Have you ever gotten your hands on a collection and just had the ideas flowing and had ideas of where you were going to go? That's the case for me with the Winter Meadow collection from Photo Play Paper.  I had so many ideas....and still do!  Today I want to share with you a Merry & Bright Christmas Scrapbook Layout, the layout I was envisioning as I started looking thru the collection.  

I'm not sure if I love the scallops or the bear on the hill better?!? What i do know is that I am happy with how it all came together in the end...there's were definitely some times I was wondering if it was gonna happen though!  Here's my video for how I created this layout:

Summer Layout - Stuck?! Sketches August 1st

It's August 1st! How'd that happen?  Today I have a new layout for you that features the sketch from Stuck?! Sketches!  Here's the sketch!

And here's what I created using it!

Crazy enough I actually stayed pretty true to the sketch this go around!  I combined some beautiful papers from the Marbelous paper pad from Paper House Productions with various chipboard pieces and some beautiful hearts from the Paper House Project Pad to make this layout.  The background looks like I did mixed media but the paper actually comes that way! Washi Tape Technique on a Scrapbook Layout - Giveaway!

Putting together a Baby Boy Pocket Page Scrapbook Layout

Even with all the scrapbooking I do, I still have baby pictures left to scrapbook!  My youngest son especially still has a big pile, because life with a fourth child was a huge adjustment!  This week the designers at Paper House Productions are teaming up with My Sentiments Exactly to create stamped projects.  I had the "Sweet Thing" Stamp Set and decided to incorporate that into a pocket page layout!

I created a process video for this one, to show you how I created all the different pockets!  Here it is:

I had forgotten how much I enjoy doing pocket pages...look for more of these to be happening in the near future!
