My Summer Honey

Since I still had some stuff left from my Burlap & Buttercups kit, I decided to play along with their challenge this week.  The challenge was to use blocks and I decided to go uniform and use mine to make a diamond pattern - I'm sure this is not the proper name.

I did this whole layout and then decided I needed to mist on it.  And then I hated the misting I did.  So I had to rip the whole thing apart and start again...argh!  I know, I know I could have embraced it...but when I've spent an hour working I want to love it!  So alas, the finished product.  My favorite thing of all is the little X's made from staples...a fun little touch

This is really cute!! I love the creative banner! I did the same thing this weekend with mist on a layout. I misted at the end and regretted it. I totally learned my lesson on that one. :-)
