I am such a fan of putting a bunch of pictures on one scrapbook layout. This layout was inspired by the Reflections book from Close to My Heart. I used some of that laser paper again for the bottom star area.

All Thumbs

Sorry about the glare...couldn't get a picture without it and I was not going outside in the crazy cold wind! I made the scaloped circle using the Mini Monograms cartridge on the Cricut Machine. That cartridge is great for girly elements! The heart embellishment and letters are yet another Dollar Tree purchase .

Number one Dad

This is a My Reflections kit that I got for an awesome $3.00 at the Close to My Heart clearance sale. As soon as I received it I knew I'd love it. The only trouble was choosing whether to use it for Ben as Dad or about my Dad. I saved the second layout to do about my Dad. I have never had Timmy help me with journaling before, but for this page I had him tell me "Why he loves Daddy" The answers are real cute and totally reflect his current favorite dad time activities.

We made this layout at the workshop I did in Missouri a couple weeks ago. I challenged the ladies to add their own personal touches and then send me a photo of it. I am looking forward to seeing how they turn out.

The leaf paper is random stamped and second generation stamped using the booking set for this fall. The ink colors are Olive, Autumn Terracotta, and Honey. The side yellow strip is dry embossed with random lines and then sanded to bring out the white core. The font is the Friendship Alphabet set. First time I've used it and absolutely loved it! Although it doesn't show I used a little clear glitter on random leaves throughout. How about that glitter on a layout about a football player! He'll be mad at me for that someday!

If you don't already own an E sized set of letters for stamping, I encourage you to get one! I am going to my two sets that size more and more. Not because it's easier than stickers or cricut--but because it's different and I can use any color I want with it. It usually takes me about 10 minutes to cut them out, but I never regret it once I get them pasted down!

Christmas Cards

These are some of the cards from the 50 card workshop that I recently did. The idea was inspired by a gal on the corporate bulletin board. I wanted to post this specifically for people who I had passed instructions on to.

A couple months ago Creating Keepsakes magazine had layouts with shapes like this wave. The magazine directed you to go to their website to get the templates. I printed off every template and intend to use each and every one. This one seemed perfect for some summer pool fun. Most of the embellishments are from Storytellers Club. The yellow squiggles are epoxy and I have no idea what brand they are. I got them on clearance somewhere long ago!
