Little Lucy

This was a fun page to do because I used something I had in my supplies for a very long time. The top is a transparency over lay...all I did was add pictures behind it and put a few flowers on top.

Adorable You

This is probably my favorite page that I've done in the last couple months...of course the picture is one of my favorites! I tested out my Close to My Heart Distressing tools for the first time on items on this page.

Supplies used: Patterned paper from Storytellers Club

I searched and searched for the lacy white paper I used on this. I had originally seen it in a magazine and after months I found it in a Memphis scrapbook store! It worked perfectly as an overlay for these pretty Lucy pictures. The spring sticker is actually an embroidered embellishment. I have no idea where I got it--it has been in my stash for a long time!

Lucy's Birthday Party

I used my Close to My Heart Reflections book for inspiration on this page. I did a little sanding & edge distressing on the pink cardstock. My favorite thing is the chipboard title...pieced from a whole bunch of leftovers!

Lucy's Cake

I was so excited when I finally discovered a paper pack to work with for Lucy's Birthday pages. I had been searching for just the right supplies...alas it was on clearance from Close to My Heart. This is one of those layouts that I thought long and hard on because it is such a special memory for me!

Supplies: Precious Paisleys My Reflections Level 1 Kit from CTMH--paper & stickers, rhinestones are from Target, Letter stamps are CTMH, and ribbon is Memory Makers

I just did this page and I love several of the techniques I tried out on it. To make the background paper I scored lines (no measuring!!!) and then sanded over the lines on the back side. This brought out the white core. I don't always like to work with white core cardstock but this is one of the things I have found to be really fun to do with it! Thankfully I have lots of Close to My Heart cardstock to play with--and all theirs is white core!

I also distressed the edges of my photo mats--which is something else I have been doing a lot of. I stamped and cut out my title.

Supplies used: Cardstock is all Close to My Heart, ribbon is Memory Makers, Alphabet Stamps are Close to My Heart

Bleed Green

These are pictures of my mom and Timmy watching the USF bowl game last January. I have made more football pages than I can count so for this one I thought I would try some new techniques (new to me at least...old to most!)

This was the first time I used foam stamps and acrylic paint on a page. Honestly I don't love it! But it was something fun to try...

I love this layout for a couple of reasons:
-I used red and green on a non-Christmas layout
-I stamped most of the images that are on it
-I took this pictures trying to get some different angles of Timmy
