Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop

Welcome to the Practical Scrappers Blog Hop
where we are Scrapping our Stash.

You should have arrived from Practical Scrappers Blog - if you didn't you may want to go back and check out everyone's blogs - lots of inspirations and giveaways!

This month (and from here on out) we are inviting anyone who's interested in joining the stash busting hop to join us.  If you want to join us next month email me at practicalscrappers@gmail.com.

Here's the whole hop list for you in case you've gotten lost along the way or missed anyone!
Christine Meyer ***You Are Here***
Lee-Anne ***Go Here Next***

I didn't have any particular stash that I was looking to use up this month so I decided to base things on the color of my daughter's dress.
Using sketches has really been helping me out of a mojo funk lately so this time around I decided to use the sketch from Creative Scrappers Sketch #269.  I loved the grid feel of it! My base paper was already stitched on (the scallop border) and as I was building my grid I decided I wanted to color in a design of my own that coordinated with Lucy's dress.  That was fun and definitely makes things one of a kind!  For my grid pieces I pulled out all my papers and stickers that I thought would match and just started lining things up!  Definitely a unique color pallet but I love it!

Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper: Pebbles & American Crafts
Stickers: American Crafts, GCD Studios, Cosmo Cricket, Pebbles Inc
Wood: Studio Calico
Enamel Dots: My Mind's Eye & Lily Bee
Chipboard: Pebbles Inc.

As a Thank You for stopping by today I am going to do a Stash Busting Giveaway of the following goodies!

  50. I'm just getting caught up on some blogs I follow and your layout caught my eye over at Creative Scrappers. I can't believe you stitched around that entire scallop--It looks amazing (that's one stitch I haven't tried, but I'm feeling inspired now). I also love the way you broke up the blocks by putting your title going down the side. Super cute all around! :)
