This is such a classic Lucy face! Here she was learning how to jump, something she continues to work on! I used my new Storybook cricut cartridge for the title. The flower is chipboard. The white border is another Fiskars border bunch called Apron Lace. The green flowers I found on clearance-they were a super deal. I thought I'd never use green flowers...but within a week I did!

I have been wanting to work on this since last August. I finally decided that if I entered it in the County Fair I would get it done! The deadline is Thursday morning and it's only Tuesday! Timmy is thrilled with the finished product and enjoyed reliving his favorite football moments. I used a lot of Cricut cuts on this-Sports Mania especially.

I love this moment in our family history-there is something special about seeing your little boy fish with his daddy for the first time! As I was making thsi I decided I needed to include a fishing rod somehow. I didn't have any stickers or supplies that fit the bill...so I just decided to create one using paper and chipboard. I love how it came together and ties the picture and title together. I also enjoyed using up a whole bunch of brads to make the fish. This layout was a blast to put together!
I have a little boy who has loved football from the time he started walking. This has made for a lot of football layouts-but this one is my absolute favorite! The picture was taken while he was watching a Packers game and threw his hands up to yell "Touchdown!" I love the way the stitching frames the picture and mimics the stitching found on a football.

This one is out for publication with SNR
I truly love this Easter photo of Lucy and thought thru what I wanted to do with it carefully. I ended up taking it to Archivers to find just the right match--only to find several different things that I thought were perfect! I decided on this flower shaped patterned paper. I outlined it with hand stitching. The pearl brads in the center of the flowers have been sitting in my stash for a long time, I was excited to finally make use of them!
